  • mercedes_cherrell I just started mines yesterday, too! Let me know how yours goes! I HATE taking pills so the pill is not an option!! My experience with the shot was horrible --- I bled for 3 months straight before getting off of it! So now.... I'm trying the NuvaRing. I heard the implanon makes you bleed a lot, too. For the shot and the implanon you have to be on it for at least 6 months for your period to completely stop; with no bleeding at all, spotting, etc. @brittanyblabber   5d
