doomofthemoon Twice this year I came home to find a bike lying on the floor, wall mount ripped from the studs... 20+ pounds of steel may be too much weight for this kind of setup!
bobbinnsprocket@doomofthemoon Gah! Supposedly the anchors we're using are rated for 220lbs a piece. My husband has been using these for awhile in his work to hold much heavier objects to walls. So, fingers crossed! 😅
bobbinnsprocketThe main reason I prefer toe clips to clipless. I can wear any kind of shoe I want! And this old pair of Dansko boots are perfect for winter cycling. Slightly big so I can get many layers of socks in them, waterproof yet breathable and warm.2w
bobbinnsprocketOk, breaking my rule on food photography, but bacon dipped in the melting chocolate chips on my waffle = foodgasm.2w
bikepretty I have a "no food pics" rule, is yours like that?
seven2seven8 I don't mind the occasional food pic as long as there's a reason for it, or if it looks appetizing. If the food doesn't look good, why share a photo?
bobbinnsprocket@bikepretty That's my general rule. Photographing food to make it look appetizing is tricky enough with a proper camera. But since this tasted amazing, I thought I would share so others could try it out.
bikepretty@bobbinnsprocket exactly! Every year my family throws a chocolate party. One if the guests always brings chocolate covered bacon. It's amazing!
