behdadjoon My wedding wine. 9 years ago it was a bit young. Now lovely. Seconds can surprise 1w
  •   cgfinore @behdadjoon Actually not a 2nd but a seperate vineyard 1w
  •   behdadjoon I know cg. I spend quite a bit of time in Bordeaux these days for work. But it is the common parlance. Thanks for the clarification tho! 1w

behdadjoon La vita e bella. A little wine, a little spice, a good meal, a beautiful day, and my kids holding hands strolling through the garden. Love 1w

behdadjoon Just a dusty bottle that pooped up in some corner of the cellar. Why not? 2w
  •   seansommnyc Oxidation? 2w
  •   behdadjoon @seansommnyc normal for the age. Still has bite but also quite ripe. Should be served a degree or two cooler than usual 2w

behdadjoon Lovely and affordable. Less heavy than most of Coutier's offerings. I am not normally a blanc de noire fan but this I like! 3w

behdadjoon Premox, unlike the lovely carillon. Both stored in identical conditions since purchase on release. Sad really. 2mon
  •   behdadjoon @danielvazto I know. I have been waiting for this one :( 2mon
  •   facedeclown Not very frequent with Leflaive i thought Did it happen already with some 2002s? 2mon
  •   jeremygiesbrecht Damn! 2mon
  •   behdadjoon @facedeclown I have had it with leflaive as much as with anyone. My sample size on 2002 is pretty good as I have attended a few tastings and as much leflaive is premox corked as anything else. There are only a few domaines and vintage which are heavily impacted as far as I can see. For the rest, it just makes things a bit more of a crap shoot, and with high table stakes! 2mon
  •   behdadjoon @chavychouet thx for the like! Just tried your 2009 whites and was really amazed. Great quality! 2mon
  •   chavychouet @behdadjoon where was it 2mon
  •   behdadjoon @chavychouet Amsterdam. Tasting before an auction. Will come an visit this summer! 2mon
  •   behdadjoon @chavychouet and, not an. :) 2mon

behdadjoon Just a great bottle. All power and little finesse but almost a batard in the boom factor. Good, if not subtle juice 2mon

behdadjoon And again a birthday wine. With its cousin tignanello on the list for under 100 I could not resist. 2mon
