augustnetta Meet Nadja. She was singing on the subway platform of 23rd and 6th Ave, and her voice filled the whole station with it's beautiful and clear vibe. When we talked I found out she was all of 19 years old, and originally came from Virginia. "Performing in the subway has made me a better musician. People aren't there to be nice, so if I perform an original song and it gets applause I know to play it in a gig. Singing like this in front of strangers is scary, but that's the only way you can grow. You gotta be scared, and then you can get over it. Before you get up on stage!" Wow Nadja, you're awesome. Andrey Tarkovsky // My lovely friends; today is meaningful to me for two reasons, one - it's my birthday, and two - it's my two year anniversary of posting on IG.
