  •   amoongrove @littlegypsyfeet I live on Tamborine mountain which is the magical mountainous hinterland behind the Gold Coast. It's a bit scary sending him off. We have been planning it for over a year and now it's real!!! He's almost 13, going on 23 of course. 20h

amoongrove So so so in love with my Tassie dress. I found the 100% merino tunic in a thrift store down there and picked the cinerea leaves on a walk through hobart. Just unraveled it and almost fell over. Can't wait to wear her! 1w
  •   bryttni_ What! This is incredible! Tell me more?! 1w
  •   p_bear It's awesome!!! 1w
  •   amoongrove @bryttni_ thank you! So much fun, too. It's all very much try and try and try again for me (not really any error just different degrees of saturation). But the exact ingredients for this beauty were an antique rusty copper pot to boil in, filled with a eucalyptus tea (lots of windfall leaves stuffed in and soaked for days in the water, let boil, and then I bundled up this wool dress (wool and silk work best) with red onion skins, eucalyptus cinerea leaves and some grevillea leaves on the back. I wrapped it super tight around a rusted iron rod and bound it with hand twined string. Put it in the caldron for a couple hours on hot not boiling and then let it cool in the water over night. That was two days ago. It's still wet but when it dries I'll take a pic of it on. Look up India Flint and borrow her books. They're like bibles to me, so much of what she writes sings to my soul. Her blog, fb and Instagram etc are nice to follow too. Xxx 1w

  •   bryttni_ Wow, thanks!! I have dyed just a few things with plants but really want to do more! This is so beautiful! Thanks for all the tips!! Will definitely be trying more of this soon (((: 1w
  •   elflyn I love, love, love this..... I am so wanting to try some eco dying. At the moment I am using natural dyes to dye yarn. I love it so, the colours are always beautiful no matter how well the dye 'took' to the yarn. I smile so wide when when I knit with it. x 1w
  •   ingechu Wow incredible colours and prints! Pro!! 7d
