agoldenafternoon Pretty rice noodles waiting to be dinner. Longing for a Pad Thai but alas, peanuts and my body are at a standoff at the moment. Has anyone tried a different nut? 17h
  •   mybelles101 I love cashews instead! Or sunflower seed butter is a good stand-in for pb, too. 17h
  •   rockthatgem Tahini (sesame seeds) works great as a non-peanut option, super tasty on noodles, especially when you add a little spicy kick :) 16h
  •   ellafran Toasted cashews @agoldenafternoon side bar: your kitchen is beautiful. 16h
  •   frissyfranklin Cashewwwwwws mmmmmm 16h
  •   turningithome Could you just leave the peanuts out? Tamarind is the real super hero of pad thai. Mmm... 16h
  •   yesiwantcake Sunflower seed butter works pretty well! 15h
  •   mrsleitner Beautiful kitchenware! I love these blue ones 8h

agoldenafternoon Roasting whole fish is easier than you think and it can be more affordable than fillets. You can have these fellas cooked in 20-30 minutes at 475, surrounded by tomatoes that roast and make an instant sauce. Cook until the fish flakes with a fork. Dinner can be pretty AND easy, friends. 7d
  •   maryboys fish eyes. no can do. 7d
  •   lovelee_marie I used to have conversations with my cereal as a kid. I'd pretend it was screaming don't eat me and I'd chop down on it. I guess I never really grew out of that and as i slid this little suckers in the 350 degree oven I'd probably start hearing don't cook me and the eyes would get me. my family wouldn't eat that night because mom had a conversation with dinner. 7d
  •   lizlangley Hey @lovelee_marie I used to play that same game :) 7d
  •   rafael_segatto Demais @agabii 6d
  •   agoldenafternoon @mooreaseal You're gonna make me all teary-eyed, lady! I would love to chat with you over coffee any day of the week. Those life-giving conversations are so important. I'm so sorry your week was heavy. I hope you have people pouring happiness into your soul so that you can keep doing that for others. You are a special lady and I can't wait to visit your store one day. 6d

agoldenafternoon Favorite salad (lately) inspired by summer and our new favorite restaurant, Ironside. Locally grown tomatoes dressed in a light mustard vinaigrette with fresh tarragon and generous slices of humbolt fog cheese. Mmm. 1w

agoldenafternoon I always love putting the jars away after a good week of canning. My goal for canning this year is to make lots of fresh tomato pizza sauce, salsa, and BBQ sauce. Hopefully, SOMEDAY I'll write a post for those of you who want to learn. Anyone have anything they are looking to preserve? 2w

  •   themuseumscout Would you consider teaching a canning class? 6d
  •   agoldenafternoon @themuseumscout I have been asked many times but it would have to be for the right crowd in the right setting I teach plenty of classes in my own kitchen so that is WAY easier than planning and prepping for an event. 6d

agoldenafternoon Packing camping food is one of my favorite things about summer. 3w
  •   traciveek We've been transitioning to more homemade/real foods while camping. This year went so well! Are these meals/recipes for the whole fam or? I'd love more inspiration/info, thanks! 3w
  •   holliemparker Please post details! This looks to die for! 3w
  •   frissyfranklin My children & I used to go with 4 other mommies & their kids for a week every summer! Each mom was in charge of bringing a couple of crafts/games, and only ONE breakfast, lunch & dinner (plus whatever snacks & drinks) then each mom only had to worry about one day's worth of meals and got to relax the rest! The kids did all the clean up. It was fabulous. To this day we all still miss Camp Itchy Bo Scritchy xx have fun! #makingmemories #backtonaturelove 3w
  •   vanessalust Yes please post details!! And @frissyfranklin that is such a great idea!! Thank you! 3w
  •   lulumaxine Please post details of your camping menu!! 3w
