  •   beergal @bill according to the owner of #lanfongyuen, the son of the creator of #pantyhosemilktea, the tea needs to be 'pulled' for like half an hour. he's got 'tennis elbows' coz of this and can't pull the tea anymore now so u know that apart from the tea blend (which I also think it's Lipton), the way to treat the tea does matter. @chiqee 3mon
  •   chiqee @beergal @bill I tried to watch them & it's a huge strainer with full of tea bags. So I think it goes thru multiple steeping, hence why the tea is so dark & strong. 3mon

  •   bill @chiqee @beergal thanks! :) yeah, this method using the percolator is by far the closest approximation to pulling it repeatedly that I've found which makes it much easier at home. I actually did go with Lipton as my base and I'm working on the blend from there. It's really close! 3mon
