moodidennaoui Although I take my @gnc_aus multivitamin twice daily due to the amount of stress I impose on my body through intense training, I always try and allow my food to serve a similar purpose. That may sound like a complicated task but it's really quite simple. The answer lies in colour. Not your colour of course, but the colour of your foods. Nature has been kind enough to guide us in meeting our nutritional requirements through the different coloured, naturally occurring foods. My lunch consists of baby spinach, chicken breast, sweet potato, black beans, chick peas as well as red, orange, yellow and green capsicum. A rainbow on your plate will have your stomach feeling just as pleasant. Each colour provides a unique nutritional element that your body thrives upon. You don't necessarily have to consume every colour in one sitting, however make it your goal by the days end to eat a variety of different coloured (naturally not genetically modified) foods by the days end and your insides will feel better AND your skin will be much clearer and more radiant. PS it's also a fun, user friendly method to use when educating our kids about how to eat well on a daily basis...(and in case the kids try and pull a fast one on you, tell them no, brown chocolate does not count as a part of a balanced colourful diet, unless it's dark chocolate ) now let me get back to my baby #PrinceZein. #countnutrientsnotcalories #dietdoctor 1d
